So as of today I am 18 years old and 6 months!
Since at 18 you're supose to be a legal adult I thought I'd post what has happened since I became an "adult".
Feb-1st month: Nothing exciting. I tried to get friends over for a birthday "party", but since my birthday always falls during Feburary break everyone was gone. So I never got an 18th. My friend Kyle sent me this HUGE email the morning of the 18th, mostly rambling about pointless things but than and the end started talking about me being 18.
Mar&Apr: rehearsing and preforming my last play as a highschool student, Oklahoma!. Met Connor Addley, Gr.9, who played the "junior" Will.
May: getting ready for Grad, nothing too exciting.
June: Here's where it gets good.
I start going to rehearsals for Kiss Me, Kate. I see Leanne and Lisa, Ashley Matthews(from Bowman), Gavin Logan, Dorian Ross and Derrick Lee, who I met during West Side Story and meet Brennan Richardson.
Finals start and Kiss Me, Kate moves to Castle Theatre. Met more of the cast.
Dress rehearsals and Preformances are going on and Grad in right in the middle, so I get the Tuesday(27th) off to go to Graduation. I didn't have a date because the guy I wanted to ask had Kiss Me, Kate.
The last preformance was that Friday(30th) and was probably... WAS a better day then Grad.
After the show was the Cast Party at the German Concordia which started at 11:30(pm). Danced all night, and by the end of it only a few of us were left. Dorian, Ashley, Matt and Amanda(also from WSS but not in KMK) and Brennan. By the time we left it was 5:30ish.
Got some stuff to do, will finish later...

Ok so it's like 12:30 in the morning and I told mom I'd go to bed but I've got a lot on my mind.... maybe not a lot really just one thing at the moment.
Today I was watching the Notebook(for the upteenth time) and I was thinking, like I do everytime I watch a romantic movie, why do I con't to watch these? I just get all depressed because I have gone my whole life never having a boyfriend and been asked out only once. I know it isn't a big deal and my friends keep telling me that I'll find someone, and it's easier in university... blah blah blah, I just feel like there's something wrong with me and guys don't want me. I've done that whole "become friends frist thing" and they just say "I just want to stay friends". I've tryed asking a guy out before becoming "friends" and he was like "I'm not ready for a relationship" and than he started dating this other girl the next day....
I don't know, maybe I'll be one of those people who are alone forever... and I'll seclude myself from everyone and live on an island alone with only my laptop and books.
Well that's my little 1:00 rant I'm tired now.

Water. Your calm and passive surface is an
illusion, with your true personality surging

Ok It's like not even 9:00 but something already happened.
I had just turned off Mckercher and not even before I hit the lights at Kingsmere I see a guy that looks like John(Brotzel), I turn around and it is him. So I pull over to ask him for a ride, expecting him to say no(but I feel bad if I dont ask), and he says why not? Is the the same guy that made up rumors about me as an excuse not to be my friend anymore?
On the way to school he told me he was living with his uncle until he could find a plce to rent, and we talked about outdoor school last year and his new girlfriend. He's really turned around since he moved out of his dad's place. I like having the old John back...

I'll start off by saying Happy Birthday Mommy:P
umm... ok so on saturday I worked from 8:45-1:00 and then I went to YADDA.
When I showed up I was the 1st one there(as always), and TR had an article on the table. Some playwright, from saskatoon, won the litery nobel prize. I can't remember his name, but his 1st play was "the Room", which Ryan Pollard directed in One Acts a while back. This is a very big deal, because ppl think that you must be a novelist to get the award.
Next when Jen came, she helps TR with the group, they started talking about the girl who got killed on attridge, and they mentioned that she's Carlyn (and Ian)'s cousin. Then yesterday I found out the Dallas knew her, and today that she was one of Duncan's closest friends. I love all of you and I'm with you. I know how it is to loose some one close.

Well... nto much happening in my boring life(as usual). Today I got up at 9 so I could be at work by 10 and when I get there I find out I wasnt booked until 12(grrrrrrrr).
So today I had my first shift on the floor which is basically walking around, and cleaning stuff up. Well the go thing is it's a big store so you dont have to do much til the boss shows up...:P
Ya, so then I got home @ 5(sigh), watched tv, came down here and playing games now I'm typing this up... Like you really want to hear about my lame ass day:P.Nobody's even on that I can talk to... grrrrrrrrrrr...

I posted this on my old LJ but now I'm re-posting here!
Why is Johnny Depp one of my favourite actors? Because he is not afraid to step out of the box. When most actors keep taking on roles that they have played before(type-casting), Johhny always steps up a takes on roles that others may not be comfortable with, ie: a cross-dressing director/writer. I love that he doesn't let himself be type cast, and always takes on roles that chalenge him, and does a great job at it. Whenever I see a movie with him in it I am always blowen away, he always amazes me with his many personalities. Sometimes I don't even realize it is him in a movie until a few minutes in, and that is a good sign, because it means he is truly into the character, mentaly and physicaly. He truly is an amazing actor. Yes other actors are great to but in what they are good at, while Johnny can do it all, which is pretty rare even among the many greats. I know because I have been involved in theatre/acting since the age of 6. There has never been any work of his that I have seen that I didn't like.
Plus... HE'S HOTT!!!!!!! Yes I know he's 43, but really he IS hot!
